Overview

It is one of the most beautiful and classic river of Nepal originating from the Himalaya, winding its way through forested canyons and twisted rock and sandstone formations. This river meanders through Magar villages where the famous Gorkha soldiers inhabit.

It is a relaxing river with a lot of high action rapids. It offers great chances for swimming and wildlife spotting making it highly suitable for families and first rafters. You will have a great fun and enjoy very much during the rafting trip. You can make an extension trip either to Chitwan or Pokhara after the rafting trip is over.

Itinerary

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu or Pokhara to Damauli

We drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Damauli, rafting starting point. Your guide brief you about the trip. After 2 hours rafting, we make a lunch break and continue again and camp first night on a spacious beach of the river.

Day 02: Rafting continues

 After breakfast we float down the river and experience some technical rapids. The topography of the area changes with lots of rock formation. After lunch trip we end the trip at Gaighat. Then, you can either return to Kathmandu or proceed your journey to Pokhara or Chitwan National Park.

Cost Includes

• Transportation to/from Kathmandu as per itinerary
• All International standard rafting equipment (such as helmets, life jackets, plastic paddles and spray jackets etc.)
• Well-trained and highly experienced rafting guides, cooks, and other helping staff.
• Camping & Cooking equipment (tents, mattress & kitchen gear).
• 3meals a day (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
• Accommodation in 2 person capacity tent during the rafting

Cost Excludes

• Any type of personal expenditure such Alcoholic beverages, soft drinks & phone.
• Food & accommodation cost in case of any natural accident caused by weather.
• Tips, gratuities to our rafting crew
• Rescue & insurance such as travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects. You are advised to insure for it.
