Overview

The Numbur Cheese Circuit trek is newly opened off the beaten trekking trails in Nepal. The trail takes you on a picturesque passage through two river valleys named Khimti and Likhu which are nestled on the foothills of Everest and Rolwaling region. The rich biodiversity in the area ranging from temperate to alpine forests are inhabited by wildlife like; Red Panda, Musk deer, Himalayan thar, Snow Leopard and various species of pheasants including Danfe (the national bird of Nepal). The presence of glaciers and moraines along with the spectacular view of the snow capped mountains like, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling and Numbur adds extra bonus to the trek. The trail also offers to the visitors a close look to the life style and culture of the indigenous communities such as Sherpa, Newar, Thami, Tamang, Yolmo and Majhi.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing or Free day in Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Shivalaya (About 9-10 hrs)
Day 04: Trek from Shivalaya to Khahare
Day 05: Trek from Khahare to Panipakha
Day 06: Trek from Panipakha to Manedanda
Day 07: Trek from Manedanda to Panchpokhari (4515m)
Day 08: Trek from Panchpokhari to Tare (4140m).
Day 09: Rest day in Tare to explore around
Day 10: Trek from Tare to Ngeju (2665m)
Day 11: Rest day in Ngeju to explore around
Day 12: Trek from Ngeju to Lhachhewar
Day 13: Trek from Lhachhewar to Kyama
Day 14: Trek from Kyama to Gumdel
Day 15: Trek from Gumdel to Serding
Day 16: Trek from Serding to Lapchane
Day 17: Trek from Lapchane to Those
Day 18: Drive from Those to Kathmandu (About 9-10 hrs)
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu for own sightseeing or shopping
Day 20: Transfer to airport for journey back home
