Mimi Pokhari lies in the south of Manaslu and north east from Annapurna. The trek is worth doing as it is precious both culturally and naturally. Mimi Pokhari (Lake) is the long ridge that stretches southwest from Himal chuli and west peak. The panoramic views of the Manaslu (8163m), Peak 29 (7871m), North Peak (7371m), West Peak (7540m), Himal Chuli, Buddha Himal (6672m) and the entire Annapurna ranges seen during the trek is spectacular. Trekking into this area should be fully organized as there is no human settlement along the trail for two to three days and any lodges for teahouse trek as well.
The trek begins from Bhulbhule (which is on the way to Manang) and crosses the Marsyangdi River and passes through the paddies fields, Gurung and Tamang villages and pristine forest of rhododendron and bamboos finally leading to alpine pasture land with views of the snow capped high peaks in the close proximity.
