This is newly explored trekking destination into lower Manaslu region of Gorkha District, central Nepal where the world’s eighth highest peak Mt. Manaslu (8156 m) is located. The trek starts from Gorkha Bazaar, the ancient capital of Nepal, from where King Prithivi Narayan Shah started the unification of modern Nepal. It is also the place of historical and archaeological importance.
The area full of historic, religious, ecological, and cultural significance has every potential that can allure tourists giving them full satisfaction of their journey once in a life time. It also offers trekkers an ample opportunity to explore the culture and tradition of the local people who have beautifully preserved their traditional art, craft and moral values untouched by modernity.
The highest point we visit on this trek is Dharche Danda (3220 m) which offers excellent sunrise views along with a breathtaking 180 degree’s panoramic view of more than 20 snow capped peaks like; Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Bhara Shikhar, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Lamtang, Himal Chuli, Buddha Himal, Sarang Peak, Malkunti Peak, Babu Himal, Sringi Himal, Ganesh I, Ganesh II and Ganesh III. The hilltop also holds great religious significance among Gurung people, and offer prayer to the hill deity to avoid natural calamities. The spectacular mountain views and picturesque Gurung villages of the hills are splendid enough to fulfill every trekker's dream.
