Overview

The trek begins at Barabise after a 4 hr drive from Kathmandu. The trail of the trek passes through beautiful villages inhabited by Tamang, Sherpa and Brahmin and a thick forest with lots of rhododendron trees finally leading to Kalinchowk hill. The fascinating Klinchowck hill offers a gorgeous view of the Himalian range, enchanting green hills and beautiful settlements etc. There is also a prominent temple of the Hindus called Kalinchowck temple at an altitude of 3842m. Goddess Kalinchowck is highly noted as a wishful filling goddess through out the country by Hindu people. On our way back, we pass via village of Thami people which is a very rare community of Nepal. Finally this trek ends at Charikot, which is the district headquarter of the region.
