Overview

This is one of the easiest trek in Nepal at the lower elevation and the trek offers unsual attraction of low atlitude trekking and exploration opportunities of natural scenery and different ethnic people of Nepal. This trek mainly provides wonderful insight into the village and culture of Gurung people who form the major constituents of Gurkha soliders. Passing through scores of villages clinging to terraced mountain slopes are the highlights of the trek. The rugged landscape is divided by a multitude of high ridges and deep river valleys providing breathtaking views at every turn. The trek involves only a few uphill climbs leading to Begnas and Rupa Lake near Pokhara. The trek also introduces rural Nepalese communities in the central of Nepal to the visitors.
