This trip combines both the rugged, snow-covered peaks of the Everest region and the exotic wildlife in southern Nepal at Chitwan National Park providing you the complete diversity of this small Himalayan kingdom. This trek begins with a spectacular flight to Lukla the gateway to the Everest region. The trek route passes through arable fields and the forested hillsides of the lower Khumbu before we arrive into the famous town of Namche Bazaar that is nestled on a hillside with many mountains around. The trek takes us further r up to the Sherpa villge of Khumjung and Tengboche Monastery. This fabled Tengboche monastery is located just right below the dramatic peak known as Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamaserku.
Above Namche we really get grandeur views of high mountains and varied and spectacular landscape each day providing new experiences. We enjoy close-up views of towering Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Everest. After returning to Kathmandu, we drive /fly to the lowlands in Chitwan National Park, where we search for rhino, crocodile, deer and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. We stay in a jungle lodge and go on safari on elephant-back and in dugout canoes. Majestic scenery, stunning trekking and captivating wildlife encounters will provide an opportunity to trekkers to see Nepal at its very best highlighting Nepal’s incredible diversity.
