Mountain Expedition in Nepal

Nepal is best known for its mountains and mountaineering expedition in the world. Nowhere else on the earth one can find such concentration of high snow-capped mountains and have the opportunity to climb some of the highest peaks in the world. Besides Mt. Everest (8848m) the highest peak in the world, Nepal is also home to other seven peaks over 8,000 m and innumerable others between six and eight thousand meters. These large numbers of Himalayan peaks have always been a great attraction to the mountain climbers since the country opened its peaks to climbers in 1949.
