Overview

In fact, the Langtang valley is a land of spectacular alpine scenery and a place of unique culture and traditions. This valley is over shadowed to the north by the high peaks such as Langtang Lirung (23,756 ft), Dorje Lhakpa, Nayakhang and so on. This lodge based family trek with easy pace begins with a drive to Syabrubeshi through Tamang settlements along the road and takes us further up through a varied landscape of evergreen forest and rushing streams finally leading us to Kyangjin Gompa (the last settlement of the area). Above Kyangjin is the viewpoint of Tsergo Ri which provides superb views of the valley and snow capped high mountains like, Ganja La. Langtang Lirung (7,245m), Dorje Lhakpa (6,989m) and many more.

We really get grandeur views of high mountains and varied and spectacular landscape while on this trek. This is a journey into the world of numerous highlights such as stunning views of high mountains, varied landscape along with culture of Tamang people who are physically and culturally resemble to the Tibetan and their unique lifestyle is still thriving under their traditional attitude. We retrace the same route to Syabrubeshi to drive back to Kathmandu with many more memories ending this fabulous trip.
